Customizing your site
Customizing your site with Main Street Sites can be a great deal of fun and it can help draw attention to your site.
- You can use our special formatting toolbars to pick a pleasing array colors, fonts and font sizes for your pages.
- You can insert images and quotes in your Image Gallery and Customer Feedback pages, of with a Premium package, upload images to your Image Vault and add them anywhere on your site.
- You can make (or scan) a logo into an image and upload it to use on your site.
- You can add tables and indents, bulleted lists, etc.
- You can add additional pages to your site to promote or describe various aspects of your business (Premium page required)

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Main Street Sites provides simple yet powerful tools available to make configuring your site easy. First you just select your SEO tools from the menu
All of your pages (including any new pages you have added) will be displayed in a list. You can see from this list that we have already set some values for the home page and one of our Vault pages.
Here's an example of settings SEO information for page. We set a specific title for the page, a description, and a set of keywords. This gives the search engines additional information to use when categorizing your page. If your potential customers are searching on the terms you enter here, you have just increased the likelihood that they will find you.
Important note: the most important thing for being found online is the content on your pages. These additional steps are great ways to draw attention to your content, but you still need to put something informative on the page itself.
